02The scenario

Earth is finished. You are not.

Winners are survivors.

The perimeter has fallen. The last transports are fueling, the window is closing, and everything you can build in one day decides whether your crew is on board.

HackPerimeter drops teams into that scenario for twelve hours at the first-ever Perimeter College hackathon. You bring a crew, a clock and a problem worth solving. Build the thing that gets you out.

  1. 01

    Stay together

Crews of two to four. Nobody makes it off the planet alone.

  2. 02

    Stay on the clock

Twelve hours, doors open to lights out. Every decision costs time.

  3. 03

    Stay ahead

The top three teams are interviewed on-site before the day is over.

HackPerimeter is the first-ever Perimeter College hackathon. Teams have twelve hours to build something under the pressure of one survival scenario: Escape from Earth.

Friday, November 13, 2026, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Jim Cherry Auditorium, 555 Indian Creek Drive, Clarkston, GA.

Teams are two to four people. Bring your own crew. Nobody survives alone.

There is a $1,000 cash-prize pool. The top three teams also get on-site interviews at the end of the day.

It is the scenario that frames the day: a zombie apocalypse on Earth and a crew trying to get off the planet. Specific challenge details will be shared closer to the event.

IBM Z, Accenture, The Zoku App and Duwun are partners of HackPerimeter. More partners are joining soon.
